Max Ernst Foundation
Max Ernst Foundation
The Max Ernst Foundation was established in 2001 by Kreissparkasse Köln, the City of Brühl, and the Rhineland Regional Council (Landschaftsverband Rheinland, LVR) to collect, exhibit, and preserve the significant work of Max Ernst in his hometown. The foundation holds an extensive collection and provides it to the Max Ernst Museum. Additionally, the foundation supported the creation of the Fantasy Lab, encouraging young people to engage with Max Ernst‘s work and promoting the study of Surrealism and its practitioners in the present.
