16.5.2021 – 29.8.2021
Entitled „Verbotene Zonen“ and„Grosse Prozesse“ the Max Ernst Museum Brühl des LVR is presenting around 120 paintings and drawings by the contemporary German artists Hartmut Neumann (*1954) and Wolf Hamm (*1974) in a duo exhibition. .
In the museum's first duo exhibition with contemporary artists, two different approaches to the work of Max Ernst and surreal pictorial strategies can be discovered. This aspect connects the two artistic perspecticves and build tematic bridges in the separately conceptualised presentation in the exhibition space.
